Simchat Hachayim is a Los Angeles based charitable organization founded by Mr. and Mrs. Chanan Hershkovich and with the guidance and support of Rabbi Mendy Cohen. Simchat Hachayim was developed to bring joy to the lives of those less fortunate. Its work is primarily focused on serving the needs of the Los Angeles Jewish community as well as those living in the eternal land of the Jewish people, the Holy Land of Israel. 
 

Simchat Hachayim provides food for the Sabbath and the holidays to poor families, clothing for those who need, assistance for brides and grooms as well as crisis intervention and assistance. The organization is heavily staffed by volunteers ensuring that most if not all of every dollar donated goes directly to it's intended cause.
